What keeps you going?

No matter who we are, there’s always a reason and a driving force that makes us wake up in the morning and be excited for the days ahead. It could be our family, work, friends or our interest and this defines what really matters to us to keep us going.

Metro Davao 1 Branch Manager, Maribeth Pabayos, or Beth for short, has her own driving force – her children. “My greatest dream is to see my kids graduate because that’s what will help them to have a good life in the future,” said Beth. And to give them a good education, Beth has been working hard and is on her 6^th year of working in KMBI.

We have continuously been asking God for signs; signs which would bring us into making better decisions in life; but the real question here is, are we really looking or are we just waiting for God to personally place it on our hands? According to Oswald Chambers, “God did not direct his call to Isaiah – Isaiah overheard God saying, “… Who will go for Us?” The call of God is not just for a selected few but for everyone. Whether I hear God’s call or not depends on the condition of my ears, and exactly what I heard depends upon my spiritual attitude.”
